Young Black Men Leadership Alliance

We produced this short video for the YBMLA on their annual leadership retreat at the Boy Scouts of America camp ground outside Charlotte, NC..

YBM’s mission is to develop young black men into 21st century Leaders by exposing them to positive leadership models, equipping them to be spiritually grounded to make a difference within humanity, and empowering them to become competent leaders with a passion for lifelong learning.

In case you didn’t know, Miami is a great place for a conference. In May, I attended the Annual Conference of Handcrafted Soapmakers as the official videographer. Here is four days of footage edited into a few colorful, action-packed minutes. Thank you, HSMG. Miami was fun!

“There’s a need for other businesses to come together, network, socialize, trade information ideas and resources,” said No Grease co-owner Damian Johnson. “This really is the time for the Charlotte urban business community to get some type of common ground when discussing business.” No Grease Barbershop organized the town hall, which is also sponsored by Wells Fargo.
Johnson was joined by other business and local leaders such as Mayor Anthony Foxx, JCSU president Ron Carter, Urban League CEO Patrick Graham and others.
